It’s not new that wellness and happiness are intertwined. It’s quite logical. How can we be completely happy if we don’t take care of our well-being? And how can we claim to be truly healthy when we can’t genuinely say we are happy?
However, happiness, as with many things, doesn’t come as easily as we’d prefer. To be happy is a choice, but it’s not a simple “yes” or “no.” Sometimes, we find ourselves in situations or environments that cause extreme stress and challenges, which may not be a matter of choice. We, as humans, haven’t yet mastered full control over our feelings and emotions. Life isn’t always a cause for celebration.
We can make adjustments to improve negative situations. Inner strength and motivation play a significant role, as does self-awareness. Denial doesn’t aid our well-being, and dwelling on the negative aspects of our lives doesn’t tip the scales in our favor.
Those feelings, emotions, and motivations can’t and shouldn’t be ignored or avoided. You must acknowledge them, work through them, and find the best possible way to deal with them. For example, if the love of your life suddenly reveals that …

Happiness is yours and always has been, and so is health. If you chose them, they will chose you too! Remember to be grateful for the little blessings and to think about the future and how you can make positive changes in it. Don’t worry too much about the ‘why’, but focus more on ‘how’ and ‘what’ you can do and accomplish. Learn to create positive situations out of the negative ones. And you’re well on your way to the life you’ve always wanted!
